These terms cover your use of Claudster, a macOS app made by FRANCESCO BERTOCCI, LLC ("we"). By downloading or using it, you agree to them.
1. The app
Claudster shows the state of your Claude Code sessions on your Mac and on your other devices, and lets you queue tasks for those sessions. It is currently provided free of charge, as a download from this website. It is not distributed through the Mac App Store.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Claudster on Macs you own or control. Claudster is not open source: you may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this despite this restriction. We keep all rights not expressly granted.
3. Not affiliated with Anthropic
Claudster is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. Your use of Claude Code is governed by Anthropic's own terms.
4. Your content and your sessions
Your code, prompts, transcripts and screenshots stay yours. Claudster lets you send instructions to AI coding sessions (queued tasks, and the Send now wake-up line). You are responsible for what you ask those sessions to do and for reviewing what they do, including any changes they make to your files or systems.
5. Acceptable use
- Use Claudster only on Macs, networks and projects you are authorized to use.
- Keep your dashboard link private. Anyone with it, on a network that can reach your Mac, can read your sessions and queue tasks for them.
- On networks you don't trust, turn off access from other devices in Settings › General.
- Don't use Claudster to get around the security of any system or to break any law.
6. Changes it makes to your Mac
With your action, Claudster adds hooks to Claude Code's settings (backing them up first), writes status files inside your projects, and, if you turn these on, sets folder icons and Terminal tab titles. You can undo each of these in Settings, and the uninstall steps remove the rest.
7. Third-party software and links
Claudster works with software we don't control, including Claude Code, Terminal, iTerm, tmux, Git, and web browsers. Their behavior and terms are their makers' responsibility. Links to other websites are provided for convenience.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Claudster is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information it shows is complete or current.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FRANCESCO BERTOCCI, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, code, profits or business, arising from your use of Claudster or of the sessions it controls. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Claudster, which is currently zero, or US$50, whichever is greater.
10. Changes to the app and these terms
We may change or stop offering Claudster, and may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, with a new date at the top. Continuing to use Claudster after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FRANCESCO BERTOCCI, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
